The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Thursday night met with the former president, Goodluck Jonathan in the Federal Capital Territory.
Atiku’s meeting with Jonathan is coming days after the former president denied enforcing the five aggrieved Governors of the PDP identified as G-5 to fight Atiku.
OsunDaily News gathered that the running mate of the former vice president, Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta State Governor), former minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka and several others were in the meeting.
As of the time of filing this report the detail of the meeting had not been disclosed by the former president or Atiku’s camp.
There are speculations that Atiku’s meeting with Jonathan might be linked to his 2023 presidential ambition.

Former President, Jonathan has said reports claiming he is involved in the current crisis plaguing the PDP are false.
Speaking via a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Ikechukwu Eze, Jonathan insisted that the aggrieved governors contrary to the reports are not doing anything because of him.
The erstwhile president insisted that he does not have battles to fight with anyone and wished that the PDP would settle its internal rift amicably.
