Niger Tornadoes Interim coach, Majin Mohammed has reacted to his team’s victory over Bendel Insurance.
The Ikon Allah Boys defeated Insurance 3-1 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
It was Bendel Insurance’s first home defeat in 17 years.
Chidiebere Ernest, Akintunde Azeez and Clinton Jephta scored a goal each for Niger Tornadoes.
Chukwudi Meze was on target for the home team.
“Well for every game there is always a game plan and strategy as you can see the strategy worked for us,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“We got our quick goals and that was what we set out to do and we were able to defend our goals in the second half.”
Niger Tornadoes moved up to 12th position on the table following the victory.
