Niger Tornadoes caretaker coach, Majin Mohammed has revealed that his team was set up for a draw in Akure.
The Ikon Allah Boys held Sunshine Stars to a goalless draw at the the Akure Township Stadium on Saturday.
Mohammed commended his players for their determination in securing a point in the game.
“We give glory to God and kudos to the players for a job well done,” he told the club’s media.
“Well, it’s a strategy and whatever strategy you deploy it’s either to win or lose.
“So for today it favours us; to God be the glory we are able to pick a point which is plus for us.”
