The manager of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has insisted that his star forward, Mohamed Salah won’t leave the club this summer amid reported £191 Million per season deal.

Earlier today, August 25 reports went viral that Mohamed Salah has reportedly agreed to a tempting offer from Saudi Pro League club, Al-Ittihad.

BeIN Sports claimed that Salah has agreed to a deal with the Saudi side which will make him the most expensive player in the world. The reported deal will earn the 31-year-old Egyptian winger a tax-free £3.7m per week. If this deal scales through, he would earn more than Cristiano Ronaldo of Al Nassr and his potential teammate Karim Benzema of Al-Ittihad.

However, no matter how tempting the deal is, Liverpool still have the final say since the Egyptian winger is still contracted to the club. Recall that Mohamed Salah renewed his contract with Liverpool last summer which will expire on June 30, 2025.

Aside from that, the Merseyside giants have made it clear that Salah is not for sale, and coach Jurgen Klopp re-echoed that earlier today ahead of their clash with Newcastle United on Sunday, August 27.

Klopp said Salah who joined the club from Roma in 2017 is “100% committed” to the Premier League giants.

“There is nothing to talk about, he is a Liverpool player,” the German tactician said.

“He is essential and will be. There is nothing there. My life philosophy [is] I think about a problem when I have it.”

Mohamed Salah has started both of Liverpool’s games this season. He however scared Liverpool’s fans when he showed frustration at being substituted in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

Last weekend, he knocked in the rebound from his saved penalty in the 3-1 win against Bournemouth.

Salah has scored 187 goals in 307 games for Liverpool and has won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Fifa Club World Cup and Uefa Super Cup so far at the club.
