Two Bus Rapid Transport, known as BRT, were involved in a head-on collision on Tuesday in the Dopemu area of Lagos.

Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, disclosed this in an online video on its official X handle, confirming several persons were injured.

According to the agency, the incident had led to traffic congestion along the axis.

However, no person has been reported dead.

โ€œEffect of this occurrence on traffic is minimal; however, our officers, as well as all other concerned authorities, including men of the Nigerian Police Force, are on the ground there doing the needfulโ€, LASTMA stated.

When filing this report, LASTMA officials were seen at the accident venue transloading the content of one of the trailers.
