It was an interesting afternoon of Premier League football across England earlier today, August 26, as three games went Live simultaneously.

After Tottenham Hotspur beat Bournemouth 2-0 away from home in Saturdayโ€™s curtain-raiser, all eyes were on Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest, Arsenal vs. Fulham, and Brentford vs. Crystal Palace.

The Brentford vs. Crystal Palace clash at the Gtech Community Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw courtesy of goals from Kevin Schade for Brentford in the 17th minute, and the equaliser from Joachim Andersen in the 76th minute.

The draw left Brentford in the 6th spot on the Premier League table with 5 points in three games and left Palace in the 10th spot with 4 points in five games.

At Old Trafford, it was a scary start for Manchester United as they went behind as early as in the second minute courtesy of a strike from Nigeria international, Taiwo Awoniyi.

Two minutes after, Nottingham Forest compounded Unitedโ€™s woes in the 4th minute courtesy of a strike from Willy Boly.

Christian Eriksen got one goal back in the 17th minute as the first half ended 2-1 at Old Trafford in favour of the visitors.

However, the table turned drastically in the second half for United as Casemiro grabbed the equalizer in the 52nd minute. Bruno Fernandes got the winner from the spot kick in the 76th minute to complete a perfect 3-2 comeback against ten-man Forest whose player, Joe Worrall was shown a red card in the 67th minute.

The 3-2 win has taken Manchester United to the 5th spot on the league table with 6 points in four games, while Nottingham Forest are currently occupying the 14th spot with three points in three games.

It was also a dramatic time at the Emirates Stadium as Fulham started with a big bang against Arsenal. Andreas Pereira put the visitors ahead in the first minute of the game.

That lead lasted throughout the first half before Bukayo Saka got the equalizer for Arsenal in the 70th minute via a spot-kick. In the 72nd minute, Eddie Nketiah put the Gunners ahead.

Things went sour for Fulham in the 82nd minute when their new signing and Nigeria international, Calvin Bassey was shown a red card. Despite playing with a man down, the visitors managed to equalize in the 87th minute courtesy of a strike from Joรฃo Palhinha.

This result means that Arsenal are now sitting in the second spot on the Premier League table with 7 points in three games. Fulham are occupying the 11th spot with three points in three games.
