Lobi Stars have resumed training amidst reports of the players embarking on a strike over unpaid salaries.

The Pride of Benue had a light training season on Tuesday.

The vice chairman of the club, Dominic Iorfa, debunked the news of a strike by the players.

Iorfa reiterated the commitment of the clubโ€™s management to the welfare of the players to ensure the team compete favourably.

Lobi Stars are scheduled to face Shooting Stars in President Federation Cup Round of 32 match.

The game is billed for Awka City Stadium on Wednesday, May 22.

Lobi Stars sit in fifth place on the NPFL table.
