Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe has commended his players for their resilience in the win against Doma United.
Stanley Ogabor and Sulaiman Mojereola’s goal was enough to hand Lobi Stars a 2-1 win over Doma United at the Lafia City Stadium.
Samuel Enefiok netted the consolation for the hosts.
The defeat ended Doma United’s nine-game unbeaten run.
“I thank my boys for the zeal they have put into the game against Doma United,” he said in a post-match interview.
“As you can see, Doma United had gone nine matches unbeaten so when they were coming here, they were hopeful but I know this place is a slaughter ground; no team can come here and survive.”
Lobi Stars moved up to second position on the table with 26 points.
