The best-graduating student of the Lagos State University (LASU) Aminat Yusuf on Thursday visited Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the State House, Marina.
OsunDailyNG reports that Yusuf visited the governor in the company of her parents, shortly after a donation of N10 million was given to Yusuf at the university’s convocation ceremony on June 22.
Sanwo-Olu also gave her a personal gift of N5 million cash and also announced an additional N5 million from the Lagos State Government to reward the 23-year-old law graduate for her brilliance.
The governor’s chief press secretary Gboyega Akosile announced Yusuf’s visit on social media.

Yusuf graduated from LASU as the institution’s best student of all time, with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 5.0 on a scale of 5.0, becoming the school’s valedictorian at its 26th convocation held at its Ojo campus.
Edo State Government has offered her employment.
