Kwara United head coach Kabiru Dogo has commended his players after they rallied to beat Sporting Lagos on Wednesday.
The Harmony Boys conceded in the first minute with Jonathan Alukwu firing the visitors in front.
Isaiah Ejeh levelled from the spot for the hosts in first half stoppage time, while Ifeanyi Odinnega scored the decisive goal late in the game.
“My team will continue to improve as we take the games as they come,” Dogo told Kwara United’s media.
“The most important thing is that the players are playing well. Very soon the goals will come.”
Kwara United moved up to 12th position on the table following the win.
