Kano Pillarsโ technical adviser, Usman Abdallah, has acknowledged the strength of Remo Stars and expects a tough encounter ahead of their NPFL clash at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 22.
He also commended Remo Starsโ head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, for his tactical skills which helped Remo to finish second in the NPFL last season.
Despite the form of Remo Stars, who havenโt dropped a point this season, Abdallah is confident that Kano Pillars have thoroughly studied their opponents and are well-prepared to secure a victory.
โWe know itโs going to be a tough match, perhaps the match of the week,โ Abdallah told Kano Pillars media.
โBut weโve studied them and know their style of play, and Iโm confident weโll take the three points.โ
Ikorodu City Motivated
Ikorodu Cityโs technical adviser, Bright Ozebagbe, expresses the teamโs high motivation for their upcoming away fixture against Kwara United at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 22.

Note that Kano Pillars are currently playing their NPFL games on a neutral ground due to the ongoing renovations at their original ground, Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
Ahead of their clash with in-form Remo Stars, Abdallah appreciates the great support from their fans in Katsina as he remains hopeful for a return to their home ground once the renovations are completed.
โKano and Katsina are close, and our supporters have been great in Katsina,โ Abdallah told Kano Pillars media.
โWeโre hopeful weโll soon be back at the Sani Abacha Stadium once renovations are complete.โ
