The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved 140 as the cut-off mark for admissions into universities.
The registrar of the board, Is-haq Oloyede, announced this during the 2023 policy meeting on admissions to tertiary institutions and awards held on Saturday in Abuja.
Mr Oloyede said the cut-off mark for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education is 100 and above.
He mentioned that the cut-off mark is the minimum, but universities do not have to comply as institutions can set a higher cut-off mark.
