Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Illbliss has berated colleague, Phenom, over his “disrespectful” comment about legendary rapper, Mode9.
DAILY POST reports that Phenom stated in the latest episode of The Yarns Podcast that “I don’t see Mode9 as someone I want to be like.”
Reacting via his Instagram page, Illbliss said Phenom’s comment was “disrespectful” and “utter disregard” for a legend who contributed immensely to the hip-hop culture in Nigeria.
He wrote, “Even Phyno would never disrespect the Hiphop pioneers that came before him, with phantoms parked in his garage. Really truly disappointed Phenom. Mode9 is a living legend, alive and well, incredibly decorated and respected for his contributions to Hiphop culture. I hate the disregard!”
