Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has presented cheques worth N63,361,902.37k to the next of kin of 30 police officers who died in active service in Kogi State.

The Kogi State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP William Ovye-Aya, said in a statement on Thursday that the cheques were presented by the stateโ€™s Commissioner of Police, Onuoha Bethrand, on behalf of the IGP.

โ€ The beneficiaries thanked the IGP and the State Police Command for the support and assured the Police of judicious use of the money,โ€ the statement added.
