The Sunshine Stars’ coach, Kennedy Boboye, is confident about his team’s chances in the upcoming NPFL away match against Remo Stars at 5:30 p.m. later today, September 14.
Boboye believes that his players are capable of securing a victory as he urges them to play to instruction.
“We are in Ogun State to pick maximum points against Remo Stars,” Boboye told the club’s media.
“I have confidence in my players because they are coachable and respond to training positively.
“I pray every instruction given them at training manifests positively in Saturday’s game.”
Shooting Stars Beg For Support
The Shooting Stars’ Chairman, Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, has urged fans to show their support for the team ahead of their NPFL match against Plateau United at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 15.
He expressed gratitude to the fans for their previous support and called for continued backing this season.
“Let firstly appreciate our ever vociferous backers for their support last season, which went a long way in helping the team last season,” Akoro stated to Shooting Stars media.
“They were simply fantastic and it was not a surprise to us when they emerged as the best fans of the season. Well deserved.
“We are on the march again this season and we cannot but plead for more of what we had last season.
“We are banking on their presence and support whenever we are playing at home, beginning from this Sunday against Plateau United.”
Bendel Insurance In High Spirits
Bendel Insurance’s captain, Meyiwa Oritseweyimi, has expressed optimism ahead of their NPFL match against Katsina United.
He believes the team is in high spirits and ready to secure a win in the away game which will kick off at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 15.
“We have put the goalless home draw with Rivers United behind us and focussed on our trip to Katsina,” Oritseweyimi told BSN Sports.
“I can say confidently that we are ready for the matchday two game against the Chanji Boys.
“We are in high spirits and good to go.”
Idris Leaves Nigeria
Sulaiman Idris has completed a move to Armenian club West Armenia FC after a successful trial.
The young midfielder previously played for NPFL side Kano Pillars and once represented the Nigeria Under-20 team.
