Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has opened up on her desperation made him do some shady things during his days as a struggling artist.
The Dagbana crooner in a new documentary titled โBella Shmurda: Tension in Ibadan 2024,โ revealed that he hijacked a tricycle at some point to fund his music.
He said desperation also made him signed a recording deal that that didnโt ended well.
Shmurda said, โI shouldnโt have rushed. We will never get to see the future. So everybody is rushing. I went into some things that didnโt later pay off. I went to sign a deal with rush which later was funny.
โI stole keke (tricycle) because of money but Alhamdulilah, Iโm here today.โ
The singer said becoming a father has affected the kind of music he makes and visuals he puts out.
โSeeing my son, inspires me. Whatโs on my head is, โWettin this boy go see in the next 10 years?โ I donโt want him to see my old videos. I want him to see a new Bella,โ he said.
