Nigerian hip-hop artist and hypeman, Goya Menor has said he is getting fewer accolades than he deserved.
The rapper said his song ‘Ameno Amapiano remix’ topped many charts globally, a feat he said only few Nigerian songs have managed to achieve.
He stated this in a recent interview with Cool FM, Lagos.
He said, “The [‘Ameno Amapiano remix’] hit number 1 on Shazam; number 1 in America. It hit number 1 on all platforms. So, I don’t even think I’m getting enough credits for that.
“You and I know that we can name less than 10 songs that have ever done what ‘Ameno’ did in the history of Nigerian music.”
Goya Menor also disclosed on the interview that he would love to collaborate with Tiwa Savage.
He said he has already reached out to her team.
