Popular singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales has said he and his family now live under perpetual fear following the recent invasion of his residence by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
DAILY POST recalls that Skales had weeks ago called out the EFCC for breaking into his house and wrongly accused him of being a fraudster.
Speaking in the latest episode of the Terms & Conditions podcast, Skales said he has been receiving threats since his outburst against the anti-graft agency, stressing that his life is no longer safe.
The โShake Bodyโ crooner said he is still moving about freely because he is โclean.โ
He said his artiste, who was arrested during the raid, is still in custody.
He said, โThe EFCC operatives that invaded my house didnโt have a search warrant. Obviously, they were illegal.
โMy problem with the EFCC guys is not even the fact that they are not doing what they were paid for.
โThey are now using the power to oppress people. They are oppressing me right now. I am scared for my life, I wonโt lie to you. Iโm scared but at the same time, I know Iโm clean, thatโs why Iโm moving around.โ
