Heartland head coach Kennedy Boboye says his team is still a work in progress, DAILY POST reports.
Boboye took charge of the Naze Millionaires last month following the sacking of the erstwhile handler of the team, Christian Obi.
The five-time champions recorded their first win of the season against Bendel Insurance in midweek.
Ahead of the Owerri club’s trip to the Pantami Township Stadium, where they will confront Gombe United, Boboye posited that he will keep striving to put up a strong team.
“Heartland is still a work in progress and we shall continue working until we get the desired team,” he told the club’s media.
“The players all fought as a team to get the desired result against Bendel Insurance.
“We will face Gombe United with the confidence that we can.”
Heartland currently occupy the 19th position on the NPFL table.
