The Chief Spokesperson of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo has mocked individuals whom he claimed thought they could use the absence of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, to mock him.
OsunDaily News recalls that the APC flag bearer had returned to Nigeria on Thursday after some time in the United Kingdom.
Before arriving in the country, there were speculations that Tinubu was sick and receiving treatment in the UK.
However, various APC stalwarts debunked the rumor, insisting that their principal is simply attending to various issues in the party.
His arrival came hours after Media Aide on Digital Communications to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad hinted that he (Tinubu) was expected to arrive in Abuja today.
Confirming Tinubu’s arrival, Keyamo tweeted, “The Eagle has landed!!!.”
Keyamo tweeted, “He teased them; he played mind game with them; their thoughts went wild but @officialABAT is the master of the game. Just when they thought they had something on which to feast, he’s rather the one now feasting on their naivety. Welcome back, the City Boy.”
Tinubu Visited The UK Because Of Strategic Meetings
The United Kingdom Chapter of the APC had said that the Tinubu is hale and hearty.
Chairman of the APC, UK Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Joseph Adebola, said this in a statement on Thursday.
He stated that reports of the APC flag bearer travelling abroad to seek medical assistance were untrue.
He explained that his principal has been having strategic meetings with some party stakeholders in the UK.
