In view of the November 11Th Governorship election in Kogi State, the Nigeria Police Force has announced the restrictions of vehicular movement from 12 midnight on Friday 10th November 2023 to 6pm on Saturday 11th November 2023 respectively.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer SP William Ovye Aya disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

The Police also appealed to the general public to take note of the existing order in the state to avoid any inconveniences they might encounter while en route Kogi State.

DAILY POST reports that 18 political parties are contesting in the Kogi State Governorship election.

As of Friday, individuals in Kogi State were cited going about their normal daily activities.

Large security personnel were spotted in strategic areas within Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
