Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has visited the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, on Thursday to convey his gratitude for the recent favourable verdict from the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
Sule, flanked by his predecessors, senators Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, conveyed his gratitude for the appellate courtโs decision that overturned the election tribunalโs earlier ruling, which had initially ousted him and declared PDPโs David Ombugadu as the winner.
Others who accompanied Governor Sule include the representative of Nasarawa State at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) and Police Affairs Minister (State), Mrs Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Rep. Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba, and the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe.
DAILY POST recalls that Ganduje had said, โNasarawa belongs to APC, and APC belongs to Nasarawa, we are in charge, and we will continue to be in charge,โ after the tribunal verdict that earlier sacked Sule and declared Ombugadu the winner.
