A former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Shehu Sani has claimed that the ex-governors nominated for ministerial appointments by President Bola Tinubu represent his liabilities.
OsunDailyNG recalls that the ministerial list sent to the Senate for screening and confirmation contains nine former governors, a development that has attracted mixed reactions from Nigerians.
The ex-governors include Nyesom Wike, Nasir El-Rufai, Dave Umahi, and Bello Matawalle, among others.
Speaking via a Twitter post on Monday, Sani opined that the technocrats on the ministerial list represent Tinubuโs assets while the former governors represent his liabilities.
He wrote, โThe technocrats in Tinubuโs Government represent his assets, and the former governors in his cabinet represent his liabilities.โ
Reports Of Fashola Writing Judgement For Presidential Tribunal Unbelievable
Meanwhile, Sani has reacted to allegations against an erstwhile governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola.
OsunDailyNG recalls that a Twitter user identified as Jack Ude had alleged that Fashola and some lawyers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were writing a judgement the ruling party intends to hand over to the judges.
However, in a statement on Sunday, Fasholaโs special adviser on media, Hakeem Bello said the allegation is โbaseless and defamatoryโ.
He described those behind the allegations as โagents of destabilisationโ.

Reacting to the allegation against the former governor, Sani insisted that despite the mysteries that happen in Nigeria, the story was hard to believe.
Speaking via Twitter, he wrote, โThough we live in a country of mysteries, magic, miracles and myths, itโs hard to believe that the respective Justices of the Presidential election tribunal will stoop to sacrifice their honour for someone to write the Tribunal judgment for them to read like newscasters. The story is either speculative or preemptive fiction.โ
