The Federal Government has shortlisted 18 directors in the federal Civil Service for the next stage in the recruitment of permanent secretaries, following an ICT assessment.
A total of 85 directors were originally shortlisted for the written assessment and four of them were absent.
However, only 20 directors passed the exam and were invited to the next stage, which was the ICT proficiency stage.
A memo dated November 7, 2023, from the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation said the 61 directors who failed the examination scored below 50 percent, which disqualified them from the race.
โThe under-listed 18 candidates are invited to the oral interview stage of the process for the appointment of Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service following their successful performance in Stages 1 and 2 of the exercise,โ a memo by the OHCSF said.
The directors from Bauchi and Ebonyi States failed the ICT assessment and missed out.
