A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Adamu Garba has said that he will not complain about President Bola Tinubuโs decision not to select him as a ministerial nominee.
He stated that despite the fact he was insulted while campaigning for Tinubu, he still applauds the presidentโs ministerial list because it is well-balanced.
He argued that the nominees are capable enough to start a unified and strong government.
Speaking via a post on Twitter on Thursday, Garba claimed that the President did an excellent job as he was fair to all parts of the country.
He wrote, โAs you may know, my face is all over the place during the campaign, promoting President Tinubuโs candidacy, but also getting attacked, insulted and was taken to the mud, but I donโt complain for not getting picked, why, because the picks were balanced and objective enough to start a unified and strong government.
โGovernment is a function of time F(t), the fact that I get nothing now doesnโt mean that I wonโt get tomorrow. But I know when things are done the right way and I will support it even if it doesnโt favor me.
โWe have problems with the economy, food security and general security issues, our job is to stand behind our leaders to do the right thing for our country.
โThe complaint time is over, the campaign is over, opposition is over, now is the time for governance. Governance is apolitical which affects everyone, thus, the success of governance is success for all.โ
