Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has labelled Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya a โnervous wreckโ during their 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
Raya has displaced Aaron Ramsdale since he arrived on loan from Brentford in the summer.
Much has been said of Mikel Artetaโs decision, especially after Raya gave the ball away in the build-up to Lensโ equaliser in Arsenalโs Champions League loss midweek.
Neville has weighed in on the debate after the Spanish stopper showed some shaky moments during the City game.
After Rayaโs clearance deflected off Alvarez, Neville said on Sky Sports: โI can spot a keeper a mile off thatโs a nervous wreck, and thereโs one right in front of you.
โThe mistake in midweekโheโs carried into this game. Heโs not sharp enough and heโs very lucky. Itโs quite obvious the goalkeeper is struggling but heโs still playing it short. Theyโre going to get punished if theyโre not careful.โ
