Chelsea fullback Reece James has named N’Golo Kante as the nicest guy in the game of football.
He said this while sharing a heartfelt message for the French international, who left the west London outfit for Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad this summer.
Kante, a Champions League, Premier League, and FA Cup winner, left the Blues as a free agent after an illustrious seven-year spell with the club.
The 2018 World Cup winner had an injury-plagued 2022–23 season, making just nine appearances across competitions after suffering a hamstring injury in the second game week of the season.
He signed a four-year contract worth €100 million in total with the Saudi Arabian club.
“Nicest guy in football. Such a pleasure to share a dressing room and play alongside you. Good luck, brother, you’ll be missed,” James wrote on Instagram.
