Chelsea legend, Frank Leboeuf, has expressed doubts over the club’s attacker Armando Broja, saying he is yet to be convinced by the player’s quality.
Leboeuf also hoped Christopher Nkunku would be back from his injury soon.
Recall that Broja recently returned to action for Chelsea since he tore his cruciate ligament during pre-season.
The 22-year-old was on the scoresheet in Chelsea’s Premier League 2-0 win against Fulham last week.
The Albanian star was then chosen over Nicolas Jackson to start in Chelsea’s Premier League 4-1 win against Burnley last weekend.
But he failed to score during the encounter.
“I pray for Nkunku to come back very, very soon because Broja, I’m not convinced yet. And he comes back from injury, so it takes time. Jackson, yeah, he’s getting better,” Leboeuf said on ESPN.
“But what I saw from Nkunku for several years, that will make a frontline very competitive.”
