Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has hailed goalkeeper David Raya for settling into life at the Gunners well since arriving in the summer.
Recall that Arsenal signed Raya on a loan deal from Brentford with an option to buy him for £27 million next summer.
However, Arteta believes the Spain keeper knows the way Arsenal play and has been very good with his teammates.
Ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Premier League champions at Emirates on Sunday evening, Arteta said (via TBR): “Very good around the place with his teammates. He [Raya] knows London very well.
“He knows the way we play. He’s so used to that. He knows the league, so exceptionally well.”
In the last few weeks, Raya has seemingly taken over as first-choice between the sticks from Aaron Ramsdale.
He has managed three clean sheets, and conceded four goals in five appearances across competitions for Arteta’s side.
