The Enyimba International Football Club of Aba concluded their NPFL match against Katsina United with a 3-0 victory in Aba on Monday morning, October 7.
The game was a continuation of Sunday’s NPFL match, which was suspended due to a power outage. Enyimba’s win secured them the second position on the NPFL table with 12 points from 5 matches.

Heartland head coach Emmanuel Amuneke expressed relief after the team’s first win of the season. The Owerri club defeated Niger Tornadoes 2-0, with Michael Ogu scoring both goals.

Ladan Bosso Is Positive
Bayelsa United head coach Ladan Bosso believes his team is gradually finding their rhythm in the NPFL this season.
Despite holding Nasarawa United to a goalless draw, Bosso remains optimistic about their progress and is looking forward to future matches.
“It’s unfortunate for Nasarawa United not to have picked the three points, it was equally unfortunate for us not to have picked the three points as well,” Bosso said.
“But God has His way of doing things.
“Both teams are work in progress. Both Coach Dogo (Kabir) and I need little time to go places.”

Rivers United technical adviser Finidi George acknowledged the tough victory over Akwa United, commending the opponent for their strong performance.
The Pride of Rivers secured a 2-1 win and maintained their unbeaten streak in the NPFL.
“It was a difficult three points,” the former Super Eagles coach said.
“Akwa United came in here to fight and see how they could get a draw, so we must commend them for putting in that effort.
“It’s not easy, but at the end of the day, we got those three points.”
Note that Rivers United players were rewarded with a sum of 2 million naira for their hard-earned 2-1 home victory over Sunshine Stars.
