This deployment was revealed by the Osun NSCDC Commandant, Michael Adaralewa in a statement issued by Kehinde Adeleke, its spokesperson on Monday.

The Command, while urging Muslim faithful across the country to be watchful, also called for imbibing the culture of moderation and celebration within the confines of the law.

He also revealed that the personnel were drawn from a special female squad, swift action response, anti-vandalism unit, armed squad, crisis management, intelligence and surveillance unit, anti-kidnapping and cultism unit for overt and covert operations for adequate security of lives and property.

Adaralewa while charging the personnel to work with sister agencies in the state and discharge their duties with diligence and a high level of professionalism, added that patrol teams would cover the state while some personnel would be deployed to strategic locations.

These locations, he said included; praying grounds, recreation centres, malls, marketplaces and critical national assets which will be secured before, during and after the celebrations.
