The Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac was during the weekend bagged award of “Man of Honour” from the Living Seed Educational Consult affliated with the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology formerly known as College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The institution which held its 1st convocation ceremony at the study centre, Ile-Ife during the weekend awarded illustrious individuals who have traversed in their area of endeavours.
The award is in recognition of the roles played in the upliftment of the society and humanity. The institution recognized human development role being played by the awardee which earned him the award.
The Special Adviser, who was represented by his Personal Assistant, Hon. Dotun Oyebamiji, said his principal was found worthy of the award due to his exemplary performance in assisting the people through various empowerment programmes.
He described the awardee as a rooted man who is committed to grassroot development, saying the award is a well-deserved one which will further spur him to continue the good work he has been doing for the people.
He said his boss is a loyal and dedicated man whose principle of community development will be to open a page that can not be ended through any written piece. Oyebamiji described him as a man that has contributed to people’s lives without knowing them.
“He understands the nuances of grassroot politics. He has done a lot to assist people through party politics. He is worthy and eminently qualified to bag the award.
“His activities have made indelible mark in the lives of people and the impacts he made in people’s lives cannot be quantified. It is my believe that this award will be a further call to continue to serve humanity”.
โThis award is a reminder of the incredible sacrifice he offered and how much his firm commitment to the cause of the people played a huge role in the emancipation of humanity”, Oyebamiji said.
