Charles Chubuike is set to switch to Lobi Stars ahead of the forthcoming Nigeria Premier League season.
The Doma United forward was spotted at the Markurdi-based side training ahead of their Naija Super Eight playoffs.
Lobi Stars will take on Nigeria National League side City FC at the Eket Stadium on Friday.
Chubuike was dropped to the bench in the second stanza of his club’s maiden appearance in the Nigeria Premier League.
The lanky forward netted three times in the NPL for the Savannah Tigers during the 2022-23 campaign.
Lobi Stars will hope Chubuike’s addition will help solve their lack of goalscoring problem in the league.
The club netted once and finished bottom of the NPL Super Six playoffs table in Lagos.
