Famous afrobeat singer Davido has reacted to his former signee, Peruzzi’s lawsuit against a social media influencer.
OsunDailyNG reports that the influencer known as ‘Baddy of Lassu’ had
fabricated alleged posts by Peruzzi calling out Davido for being ungrateful and also claimed that Davido cut him off because he had slept with his wife, Chioma.
However, Peruzzi on Wednesday threatened a lawsuit against the user for implicating him.
Following the threat, the influencer on Thursday tendered a public apology and took responsibility for the fabricated post.
In response, Peruzzi didn’t accept his apology, insisting on his decision to pursue legal action.
Weighing into it, Davido concurred that the influencer should be locked in jail and the keys be thrown away.
Davido wrote, “Throw away the keys.”
