Motorists, commuters and residents plying the Iseyin-Okeho road in the Oke-Ogun geo-political zone in Oyo State have raised an alarm over the deplorable state of the road.
The motorists and residents who spoke with DAILY POST on Saturday lamented that the road is currently in a terrible state.
Our correspondent gathered that a lorry loaded with maize on Thursday, November 9, fell into a gully after a heavy downpour at Olugbade village.
The road has now become unmotorable, causing untold hardship for residents.
A resident of Oke Ogun, Samuel Adetola lamented his inability to pass through the point.
He said he had been on that spot for almost four hours thinking of how he could manoeuvre his way to Iseyin.
Another resident, Adekunle Salam said the road had become a death trap already.
He then called on governments at all levels to expedite actions on how to fix the road.
A resident of the village, Ademola Wahab, called on governments to help fix the road.
He said this is necessary so as not to cripple the business activities of motorists, residents and commuters in the area.
