El-Kanemi Warriors head coach, Aliyu Zubairu has encouraged the club supporters to have confidence in the team.
Zubairu said the technical crew is building a new team with the aim of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.
He admitted that the task will not be easy but assured that with the fans’ prayer and patience, the goal would be achieved.
“The fans should continue to have confidence, support the team and be patient,” he told the club’s media.
“We are building a new team entirely and like I told them the day I was unveiled, that is not going to be an easy task but definitely we aim to get promotion.
“All we need from them is they should support the team with prayers and they should always stay with the team, keep supporting the team and I believe at the end of the season we will achieve our aim by securing a promotion ticket.”
El-Kanemi Warriors are third on the table with four points.
The Borno Army will take on Nasarawa United in their next game.
