Nigerian-born Danish forward, Chido Obi-Martin has recently been promoted to the first team of Manchester United as their third-choice striker.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag, has made Chido Obi-Martin the club’s third striker after Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund.
This means that the 16-year-old Denmark youth international is expected to receive playing time in the club’s upcoming matches.
This move comes as no surprise considering the current performance of Manchester United’s strikers, who have struggled to find their form, with only one Premier League goal scored by Zirkzee in the first six matches of the season.

Obi-Martin gained widespread attention in November 2023 when he scored an impressive 10 goals for Arsenal’s under-16s in a commanding 14-3 victory over a Liverpool youth team.
His remarkable performance continued throughout the season, as the Denmark under-17 international netted a total of 32 goals in 24 appearances for Arsenal’s youth teams while also training with the first team.
