Veteran Nigerian entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as, Charly Boy, has alleged that Simon Ekpa, the factional leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has a strong connection with the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
OsunDaily News reports that Charly Boy made this known in a statement via his Instagram page on Wednesday, questioning his followers and fans on how well they know, Simon Ekpa.
According to him, Ekpa’s athletic career abroad was sponsored by the late Deji Tinubu, the former Special Adviser on Sports to the Lagos State ex- Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Charly Boy further revealed that Ekpa works for APC and is being used to destabilize the Southeast, adding that Ekpa also represented Lagos State in athletic competitions.
He wrote, “Do you know the rascal Simon Ekpa wey dey lead a fraction of IPOB?
“Do you know he has very strong connection with APC?
“Do you know that it was the late Deji Tinubu that sponsored Simon Ekpa’s athletic career and sent him abroad?
“Do you know that Simon represented Lagos State? Dis na ur 2+2.
“Simon Ekpa works for APC, used to destabilize the Southeast.
“What APC cannot do does not exist. Master planners and Riggers of all times.”
