Political analyst, Charles “Charly Boy” Oputa has mocked the plan by the Bola Tinubu government to pay N8000 monthly to 12 million households to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal.
OsunDailyNG recalls that the Federal Government had announced that it would transfer the sum of 8000 a month to 12 million poor and low-income households for a period of six months with a multiplying effect on about 60 million individuals.
Reacting in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Thursday, Charly Boy said the Tinubu government is using the same format used by the Muhammadu Buhari administration to distribute palliatives to Nigerians during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Labour Party (LP) supporter, therefore, described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a fraud.
He wrote: “APC Yahoo Yahoo Same Format. God why? ”

We Must Also Teach Nigerians How To Fish – Omokri Reacts To Tinubu’s N8000 Monthly Palliative
Political analyst, Reno Omokri has commended President Bola Tinubu’s plan to pay N8000 monthly to 12 million households to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal.
Reacting to the development, Omokri praised the president for making such a move.
He, however, opined that it is not enough to offer fish to those in need but also teach them how to fish.
The former presidential aide suggested that the president offers free training and business grants to at least half a million Nigerian youths to enable them start up their own businesses.
