Ozonna, the son of Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has opened up about doing odd jobs abroad, in order to invest properly in his music career.
OsunDaily News reports that Ozonna made this known via his Facebook page while clarifying the reason for his break on social media.
Recall that Ozonna, who studied at the Institute of Contemporary Music, London, during an interview with the Nation in June 2022 said his parents kicked against his music career when they first learned about it.
He said: โAt first, I was met with resistance but I think my parents understand that Iโm quite an unwavering spirit and quite frankly I was going to do it anyway.
โBut yes, I (now) have their blessing. At the end of the day, itโs my life and Iโm a very passionate person with very strong ideas about what I want for myself.โ
In the Facebook post, the governorโs son said he has been working tirelessly, extra hours including taking odd jobs to earn money and sponsor his music.
He added that the process might be slow, however, he is confident that things will get done at the right time.
He wrote: โI know Iโve been taking a lot of breaks from socials lately but itโs cuz Iโve been working like crazy, taking on extra hours, even taking on some odd jobs so I can properly invest into my music.
โIt may be a slower process but trust & believe itโs going to get done.โ
