Mrs Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju has been confirmed the substantive Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Adepoju disclosed this while addressing men and officers of the NIS at a routine parade on Wednesday.
She said the date for her decoration would soon be made public in due time.
“You may also wish to know that through the grace of God and by the benevolence of the present government, I have been confirmed the substantive Comptroller-general of Immigration,” Adepoju said.
Recall that Adepoju was the most senior Deputy Comptroller-General (DCG) appointed as the acting CG to man the saddle of leadership at the NIS.
She took over from her predecessor, Isah Jere, whose tenure expired on May 29, 2023.
