Managing director and chief executive officer of Transcorp Hotels Plc, a subsidiary of the conglomerate Transnational Corporation of Nigeria, Dupe Olusola on Saturday participated in the Barbie trend.
Olusola shared a video of herself on Instagram in different outfits, one of which was pink, saying she was jumping on the “Barbie pinkie bandwagon.”
“Let’s jump on the Barbie pinkie bandwagon or at least pretend to 😂 Love my pink though,” she wrote.
Among those who liked Olusola’s post was the president of Transcorp Group Owen Omogiafo.
The premiere of Barbie was held on Thursday, July 20 in Lagos. Celebrities from every aspect of the entertainment industry came out in pink outfits for the premiere.
Fashion stylist Mai Atafo, comedienne Kie Kie, Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci, and influencer Enioluwa, among others, attended the premiere held at the Filmhouse Cinemas.
Fans of celebrities and movie lovers also joined the trend by rocking pink outfits to see the trending movie at the cinema.
