Victor Boniface was full of praises for his Bayer Leverkusen teammate Florian Writz after they both played crucial roles in Sunday’s home win against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Xabi Alonso’s side maintained their unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga this season with a 3-0 victory at the BayArena.
Writz teed up Boniface for the game’s opening goal in the 14th minute.
Boniface later set up the midfielder for the third goal in the 57th minute.
The striker waxed lyrically about the German’s performance in the game.
“I’m really happy that I get to play together with Flo. He has a real special talent and that helps us all with our game,” he said after the game.
Boniface has now scored nine goals in 15 league appearances for Xabi Alonso’s side this season.
Bayer Leverkusen top the Bundesliga standings with 39 points from 15 games.
