Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to the replacement of ministerial nominee, Maryam Shetty.

OsunDailyNG recalls that President Bola Tinubu had written the Senate asking them to withdraw the nomination of Maryam Shetty as a Minister, replacing her with Mairiga Mahmud, from Kano State.

The President also added Festus Keyamo, SAN to the list of ministerial nominees.

Reacting to Shetty’s removal, Ahmad expressed confidence in the former nominee’s abilities.

He stated that her passion for public service and qualifications were indisputable.

He subsequently wished her well and hoped that her resilience and determination would guide her towards new and better opportunities.

Speaking via Twitter, Ahmad wrote, “I have always admired @MaryamShetty’s dedication and passion for public service, and her qualifications are indisputable. While this might have come as a disappointment, I believe that her resilience and determination will guide her toward new and better opportunities where she can continue to make significant impacts. Allah ya sa haka ne mafi alheri.”

Yakasai Reacts To Shetty’s Replacement
