Ex-presidential photographer, Bayo Omoboriowo, on Monday, dismissed long held rumours that former President Muhammadu Buhari became the โJibrin of Sudanโ after his health battle in 2017.
In an interview with Channels Television, Omoboriowo described the period of the ex-presidentโs health as โvery challengingโ.
He said, โFormer President Buhari is a man of grace. His recovery was just grace. He is not Jibrin of Sudan.โ
Omoboriowo said there was no marked difference between when Buhari fell ill in 2017 and when he recovered.

During his long stay abroad, rumours had it that he was dead and had been replaced with a clone named Jibrin from Sudan.

Buhari, Nigeriaโs democratically elected President from May 2015 to May 2023 had dismissed the rumours.
The former special adviser on Media and Publicity to the president then, Femi Adesina had also described the rumour of a Buhari clone as ridiculous.
The revelations are cantained in Adesinaโs book titled โWorking with Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser, Media and Publicity(2015-2002) which was presented in Abuja last saturday.
