Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of Tottenham Hotspur’s all-time top scorer, Harry Kane, earlier today, August 12, 2023.
In a statement on the club’s official website, the record German Bundesliga champions confirmed that the 30-year-old England international signed a four-year deal with Bayern which will keep him at the club until June 30, 2027.
OsunDailyNG gathered that Bayern Munich paid a whopping 110 million euros to complete the signing of Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, his childhood club.
Even though he successfully completed his medical examination with the club on Friday and sealed the deal this morning, reports in Germany claimed that Kane could make his debut as a Bayern Munich player in the German Super Cup game against RB Leipzig later tonight.
This move put an end to Harry Kane’s record-breaking spell at Tottenham Hotspur, where he scored a club-record 280 goals in 435 appearances but couldn’t win any major title for the club.
Kane’s move to Bayern Munich this summer is believed to be motivated by his desire to win major titles.
After completing the move, Harry Kane said, “I’m very happy to be a part of FC Bayern now.
