The National Vice Chairman, South-East of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ijeomah Arodiogbu has declared that the party is in the process of capturing the entire South-East as it did in the just concluded governorship election in Imo State.
The APC National Vice Chairman, South-East stated this on Tuesday while addressing journalists in Owerri, Imo State capital.
While congratulating Uzodinma on his victory, he said the party is leaving no stone unturned to take over the reins of power in Anambra State and more states in the Southeast.
He also urged the people of the Southeast geopolitical region to shun regional sentiment and be wise enough to key into central politics and government to remain actively relevant.
According to Arodiogbu, the Imo State Governor and the party’s governorship candidate, Hope Uzodinma emerged victorious in the Saturday election and has extended his hand of fellowship to the candidates of the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He claimed that the party members and the entire people of Imo State were quite happy with Governor Hope Uzodinma’s victory and achievement in office.
The people of Imo State showed they want APC to continue the good work it has been doing in the state. They want Senator Hope Uzodinma to continue his good works he stated.
His words, “Let the people of Southeast key into the power at the centre. And I am very confident that under my watch as the APC National Vice Chairman, the South East will get more states and give support .”
