The Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani has visited the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu in his office in Abuja.
OsunDailyNG reports the meeting may not be unconnected with the security situation in Kaduna State and how to address the situation.
Below are some pictures from the meeting.
Gov Saniโs meeting with the NSA follows earlier meetings with the nationโs security chiefs.
It would be recalled that Sani, on Tuesday, held separate meetings with the Chief of Defence Staff, Maj. Gen. Christopher Musa; Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja; and Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar.
In a statement issued after the meetings, Sani said he had robust discussions with the security chiefs on the security challenges confronting Kaduna and ways to tackle current and emerging security threats in the State.
The governor said although successes have been recorded in the fight against insecurity in Kaduna State, he reminded the service chiefs of the need to consolidate the successes.
Uba pledged maximum cooperation and support from the state government to enable the security agencies carry out their vital role of securing the lives and properties of citizens.
He also congratulated and sent his best wishes of the government and good people of Kaduna State to the service chiefs on their well-deserved appointments.
In their remarks, the service chiefs assured the Governor of their commitment to working with the government and people of Kaduna State to degrade bandits, kidnappers and other criminal elements and restore peace and security to troubled communities in the state.
