At least three coaches have lost their jobs at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The first to be sacked was Chris Hughton, who took Ghana to the competition.

This follows the early exit of the Black Stars in the group stages.

Hosts, Cote dโ€™Ivoire also fired Coach Jean-Louis Gasset midway through the tournament on Wednesday.

Ironically, the Elephants eventually made it into the Round of 16, as one of the best third-placed teams. They will face Senegal next.

Another coach who is out of job is Djamel Belmadi.

Algeria decided to part ways with Belmadi after they finished bottom of their group.
