Stanley Nwabali refused to take the credit following Nigeriaโ€™s penalty shootout win against South Africa on Tuesday night.

Nwabali saved two penalty kicks as the Super Eagles edged Bafana Bafana 4-2 to earn a place in the final.

The Chippa United goalkeeper attributed the victory to the entire team.

โ€œIt has been a good team performance throughout this tournament. I really appreciate the management and coaches,โ€ Nwabali said after the game.

โ€œThese guys have really guided me a lot throughout this tournament, and I feel so happy.โ€

Nwabali was named Man of Match following his impressive display.
